The location is awesome. Your 1.5 miles from Moab main street turnoff. The views are beautiful. The smell and sounds are perfect.
There are few shaded areas for tent camping.
However, every night they have a river tour and they use a truck to light up the rock face for the boat tour. This truck drives slowly through the campground with stadium lights blasting through the camp site at .5 mph. Could've done without that.

Great site for large group of youth. Just a few min off the main road in Moab.

Love this place! We go to Moab about every other year for a multi-day mountain biking excursion. I love that this place is next to town, next to the river, next to insane cliffs, next to the exit of the whole enchilada, next to Slick Rock! The campground is well maintained, though it has Vault toilets there kept clean. No running water, no electricity, of course. That's why we go there, to get away from all that! We floated the river and came out right at Camp one day.

A great first-come, first-served campground. Arrive early to have any chance of getting a site. Clean pit toilets. Right on the river with a huge cliff on the other side. Bike path to Moab is about 4 miles.
