Awesome camp! If you want water front, be sure to call and ask if the spot you want is water front or on a hill. But water entrance isn't every far away. Great staff, clean and A/C bathrooms in the E section.
Just wish they had done where in the bathroom stalls to put a flashlight or a phone.

Alabama has many beautiful lakes and campgrounds, but what really makes Wind Creek State RV park shine is its amenities! They have a beach, volleyball, putt putt golf, equine camping, trail rides, archery range and lots of place to walk or ride your bike. There is a fishing pier with a little place to get food and ice cream🍦🍦 so much fishing!!!!🐟🐟🐟 Our spot was right on the lake and we could just jump in!!

There are some really nice things about this park. Plenty of swimming and fishing spots! Really nice picnic areas and pretty places to just walk and see things.
The campground is OK. We really lucked out with our spot on E loop, it was larger and had more shade than many others. All of the water front spots must be reserved for and entire week, so those were not an option.
This is also the most expensive campground in Alabama that I have found. 75 and change for 2 nights. Plus another 12 when i got here because kids have a second tent. For comparison, the grand canyon is 35 for 2 nights....
Very nice play equipment, and a great naturalist program.
