As a nature guru, I love getting out in and finding new places to visit. This might sound odd, but as many times as I have been in Little Rock, I never knew this little gem existed. Thanks to the Arkansas passport, it has shown me places I never knew about. With Pinnacle Mountain State Park, I stopped at the former welcome center and peered across the valley. I was able to get a decent view of Pinnacle Mountain there as well. It has a very nice place to hike, or mountain bike. I love it! 8/10 will recommend.

Great park with a playground and restroom. We visited this place for a hike to the summit of pinnacle mountain.amazing views of the waterbodies from the top. Got some delicious icecream from loblolly at the visitor center after.

Very nice hike to the summit. Clearly marked trail, even when it becomes boulder steps. More area at the summit than expected. You can make this as difficult as you like by increasing pace, or go slow. I went up and back in under 30 minutes, but I can see going at a slower more leisurely pace and enjoy the surroundings. The park itself looks like a great place for a family outing or group gathering.

We drove to Little Rock to catch a flight and decided to spend the evening before getting up at the crack of dawn to get on our flight the next day. What a beautiful way to spend time in Little Rock OK maybe outside of Little Rock but we enjoyed Pinnacle Mountain State Park as a way to get fresh air and be at peace before we headed out the next morning. We took two different trails. One of them is friendly to those who are physically challenged, and then we took another trail that required heavy, breathing, sweating, and having to rest a time or two. The experience was amazing and I’m so glad I visited. I will be back!

Whoa! Don't miss the "Creature Feature" we found. Is it a rhino, unicorn, or other monster left yet undiscovered? See the photos below for a glimpse:) Tremendous hiking and mountain biking opportunities. From changes in terrain, to indescribable views of the surrounding area and valley, this area has a little something for everyone. If you get the opportunity, be sure to make a point to spend some time at the East Quarry Outlook. Beyond just the views, make sure to observe the monument art found at the top of the trail.
