This is a must see in my opinion! Short hike but rough and up hill for most of it but the views are amazing!

Fun, short hike with beautiful forest views. Rocky terrain, some stairs, 1.2 miles round trip and about 370 foot of elevation gain. Pretty crowded, and yielded no views today. Will happily return!

Went at 8am on a Sunday and had the trail to myself. Would be a great spot to watch the sunrise. The google coordinates align with the lookout, not the trailhead where you park. Look for the Rough Ridge Overview lot, it’s a few hundred feet away and was out of sight the direction I was coming.

Nice views. It's mainly a vertical trail. The rocks can be tricky, and the trail can be really narrow at some points. It's a relatively short hike. All and all, a nice trail for a day trip to the parkway.
