A beautiful area to swim and enjoy nature. It was highly trafficked when we visited mid September. There's a car entrance fee at the park and they do give a paper with some navigation details/suggestions. Not fully sure if we actually made it to the buddha beach, but the area we swam was perfect! Lots of butterflies and colorful birds. Some.great views of the back side of Cathedral rock

Such a peaceful area to swim, picnic or walk the trails. Employees were kind and helpful. I spent the entire day here to get the most out of the $10 entrance fee and it was lovely!

Honestly, I was too tired to hike down. I thought this was an easy place to get to. The scenery was beautiful 😍 Red rock state park is worth the visit. But not in August or the hit summer months. We didn't hike at all.

3/29/2024 -- creek is 56 degrees and moving. Very pleasant to dip your feet in, but crossing would be very difficult
