Unbelievable beautiful experience show the astonishing beauty of the Costa Rica Nature. Ensure you have sufficient time to enjoy the views and take a refreshing swim. The staff showing you around and helping in the more difficult parts, is wonderful👍

An extremely beautiful waterfall! My husband and I went to Catarata del Toro waterfall. The entrance fee is $14. There’s a parking lot and an entrance point with bathrooms, and you can buy some food and snacks. The place is owned by a sweet Dutch guy. You can also purchase entrance to the Blue Falls at the same location, but unfortunately, it was closed during our visit due to the rain. The walk to the waterfall is lovely. It’s a short trek through the rainforest, but there’s a well-maintained path that’s easy to walk on. Along the way, there are some stunning lookout points. The most challenging part is the stairs leading down to the waterfall (and back up when you return). The steps are quite steep, but if you’re in average health, you’ll be fine. The entire trip should take you around 60-90 minutes. Overall, the view of the waterfall is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. It’s a magnificent sight, and I would definitely recommend visiting!

One of the most majestic waterfalls I have ever seen in my life. The location is something else, you don't see every day a waterfall so high (90 meters) dropping into an extinct volcano crater. Really beautiful. It is a bit of a walk going down to the very bottom but totally worth it. Don't rely on pictures, is one of those place pictures won't make justice of it.

Spectacular. Just incredible. To see the waterfall from every level was amazing. A lot of stairs, and a bit slippery at the very end but you could choose not to do all the views and it would still be worth it.

Wow! What a great day. Do the combo pass so you can see Catarata and the 6 pools at Blue Falls. Wear good hiking shoes or Keens. The guy we bought tickets from was SO friendly and spoke great English! It was raining when we went and it was all just as good. Do Pozo Azul last so you can swim and exit! The stairs are pretty intense but doable.
