I come here every chance I get. It's $2 to enter for a car.
The park is absolutely Beautiful. There plenty of parking and there is also a Campground.
Theres a boat ramp to help drop kayaks. If you're bringing a boat sheck water levels. I've seen it super low and really high.

This place is awesome! Kimberly ( campground manager) is extremely nice and down to earth. Paul (campground host) is a stand-up human being who will give his shirt off his back if you need it. The campground is smaller but cozy and it's shaded by oaks (which is preferred in the summer). Boat ramp was nice and has walking trails. the camp site I stayed in had water and electricity. I will definitely be returning!!!

We found this place on the way to another local shark tooth hunting place and decided to give it a try. Will def go back. Very peaceful and clean. There were a lot of trails that also went to different little areas where some had banks/beach areas that were PERFECT for what we were there for. However, they could be used to fish, swim or just spend the day by the river. The spot we went was only about 2-3 foot deep as we even crossed to the other side, but the current does run pretty quick so keep an eye for that! There was a $2.00 park fee but it was very much worth it.
