I have a place right beside the Neuse river in Kinston the river goes really low you can’t go in the river because snakes,snapping turtles, etc. The river goes so fast so if you fall in your dead. The river is nasty. It’s got tons of fish so really good to fish. I rate a 2

This river seems like other rivers, but it also is different. I think a 3 star rating is fair, this stream is not as rambunctious as the Colorado River (which I would rate a 4 star river), but it is far more appealing than the grungy Mississippi River which always smells like an old pair of rubber work boots.

Great place to relax, live, swim, fish. Jellyfish, bugs, and cold water from early fall-May are the only downsides.

Nice place to walk. It was a hot and humid day and the bugs were out of control. I'll come back in the Fall. River is dark and muddy so kayaking is out of the question. Peaceful and sounds of nature with wild honeysuckle flowers.

Such a calm and pretty place, perfect for relaxing and maybe having a picnic. You can bring your dog or just go for a walk! Remember using sunscreen!
