We have been on this tour multiple times and each time is a wonderful learning experience!! All of the tour guides are so knowledgeable about the estuary. David was our tour guide this time around and he answered all of our questions and informed us about the different species we came across.

I was very fortunate to get to do this brilliant and good value tour. I had thought, a quick boat ride on the river will entertain my son for a couple hours. It turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. The Estuary is stunning and we saw a huge variety of wildlife including Crocodiles, Monkeys, Raccoons, Crabs and Birds. Our guide David was excellent, from his communication before the tour on WhatsApp, to his knowledge as we explored the many km’s of the Estuary. I highly recommend this. Please note, the estuary is tidal so they do have to vary the tour times. Though I booked last minute, I was lucky to get two seats, so book early and have a great time.

We enjoyed our tour and gathered a new respect for the delicate balm e of man to nature. No crocs to see, left the boat to see 7 monkeys, saw birds. Biggest take away was William our guides love for nature & his country. Worth the money but don’t get your hopes up on seeing anything spectacular other than the beauty of the estuary!

I just did the Tamarindo boat estuary tour, and it was a wonderful experience! Our guide was David. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything we saw in terms of animals, mangroves, and the estuary itself. We saw lots of impressive animals from some impressive birds to howler monkeys, raccoons and crocodiles, thanks to David's good eye to spot them. The route we went by boat was also very beautiful and we learned lots of cool information. I totally recommend this tour with David as a guide!
